Who Killed Lynsey? : Ally : Guilty or Not Guilty

Having recently attracted the unwanted attention of Lynsey as she set about trying to figure out his connection to Brendan's new work colleague Walker. Did she push him too far when she followed him to a strip club, which threatened his relationship with Amy after Ste overheard their heated discussion? That's for you to decide is Ally guilty or not guilty?

Guilty

Not Guilty

Who Killed Lynsey Nolan?

And so the investigation begins with Lynsey's death sending shockwaves through Hollyoaks Village who do you think carried out the unforgivable deed. The official cause of death has been ruled as murder by asphyxiation, and as seen in the video and the new promotional image below, the officially named suspects are Silas, Mercedes, Walker, Ally, Sampson and the unthinkable yet theorised Will Savage.

Breakdown on Suspects & Motives

Silas Blisset
Did Hollyoaks notorious serial killer and Lynsey's worst nightmare manage to escape the mental institution where her resides or enlist help on the outside to finally see off his biggest foe?

Mercedes Fisher
With Lynsey discovering the truth about her stalking Mitzeee and holding the smoking gun that could destroy her relationship with Riley once for and for all. Did she finally snap an set about silencing her once time ally and best friend?

Simon 'Walker'
With Lynsey on a mission to learn the truth about who her really is and what his true intentions are, did he make sure that she'll never be able do so and ruin his yet unknown plan?

Ally Gorman
Still fairly new in town he is seen as the handsome and friendly Australian army medic yet in recent weeks he started to show a darker side, which didn't go unnoticed by local investigator Lynsey. Who first set about trying to figure out his connection to Walker then after seeing him in a strip club threatened his relationship with Amy. Did he go about making sure Lynsey would never interfere in his business again?

Sampson
A local thug with a axe of vengeance to grind with Brendan, having threatened Joel's life on more than one occasion, did he finally go about settling the score by killing Lynsey who Brendan saw as a sister.

Someone Else
Or was the culprit someone else who has not been considered, Will Savage was acting suspicious in the village taking pictures shortly before the crime was committed and became highly offensive when Lynsey took an interest in what he was doing. Does the usually calm an gentle student have a darker personality that would go to extremes to hide what he doing.Or is there a copy-cat killer on the loose hoping to gain the same acclaim and status as Silas Blissett.

Digital Spy: Daniel O'Connor Interview

Digital Spy recently caught up with Hollyoaks newcomer Daniel O'Connor who talks about the new role and what the audience can expect in the coming weeks.

Check out some of what Daniel said below but you can read the interview in full here.

How are you finding your time at Hollyoaks so far?
"It's all going really well. I've been getting along with all of the cast and they all seem really friendly. It was helpful that I already knew one of the guys on the show before I started, as I actually used to be housemates with PJ Brennan - who plays Doug - in London before he moved up here to Liverpool. So PJ showed me around and introduced me to everyone, which was quite nice."

How did the role of Ally come about?
"Well, I actually auditioned for a different role and got to the second audition for it. But then they asked me to come back and read for Ally. I got the part and I was on set about three days after that, so it all happened very, very quickly!"

How would you describe the character of Ally?
"He's a nice, loveable guy - very friendly and kind. He's a medic who's just got back from Afghanistan, and he turns up in Hollyoaks because he's looking for a place to live. So that's when he meets Rhys and Jacqui, because they're looking for a lodger.

"Initially, it all seems quite rosy and like a perfect match, but as Ally stays there a bit longer, it becomes apparent that Rhys and Jacqui are always at each other's throats! So then Ally starts to question whether it was the right decision to move in with them."

Daniel will make his debut next Monday at 7pm on E4 and at 6.30pm Tuesday on Channel 4.
