Hollyoaks Star To Revenge



Ex-Hollyoaks star Barry Sloane (Niall Rafferty) has been cast in a recurring role in the second season of ABC's drama Revenge. He is set to play Ethan a mysterious man who has ties to Emily's (Emily VanKamp) past.



Revenge returns for its second season in the US in September in its new home of Sunday's at 9pm and continues its first season in the UK every Monday night at 9pm on E4.

TVChoice Awards 2012: Hollyoaks Gains Two Nominations


The TVChoice Awards 2012 nominations have been announced and in the soap catagories Hollyoaks has picked up two. First a Best Actor nomination for Emmett Scanlan (Brendan Brady) and secondly a Best Soap nomination for Hollyoaks.



Voting has opened over on the official TVChoice website and will remain open until midnight on Friday 13th July 2012.

Backstage: Behind The Scenes of Lynsey's Farewell

Here's a behind the scenes featurette of the filming of the scene where Lynsey is officially declared dead, that aired during the episode that aired on Friday 29th June 2012 on E4 and will air on Channel4 on Monday 2nd July 2012. During this feature Karen Hassan talks about her feelings on her final storyline, and Emmett Scanlan talks about his elation at the material he's been given lately.

Who Killed Lynsey? : Silas : Guilty or Not Guilty


He killed several women in the village including his own daughter but although he tried many a time Silas was never able to silence his biggest foe Lynsey. Following his failed attack on her Lynsey was convinced he was the serial killer and made her theories heavily public, although no one believed her she never gave up. Following Silas' final attempt on her life during the Halloween celebration at Chez-Chez that saw him mistakenly kill his daughter Heidi, Lynsey was able to have the laugh as she wished him "Sweet Dreams" in their final encounter. Still feeling angry about being outwitted by Lynsey was he able to escape from the mental institution of which he now resides to silence her for good, or did he have outside help?
