From this Steph takes it upon herself to show him how his presence in has helped the lives of several people.
On her return Stenson told MSN,
"Strangely, it didn't feel weird because I had been there for ten years, so it felt like I was doing something I had always been doing. Like I had just blinked the year away. It felt really normal,"
"It was a nice, unexpected surprise. I had died so I really didn't think I would be coming back - but I guess there is nothing that Hollyoaks can't do,"
"I was happy to go back, but I didn't want it to be a bit of a farce. But I liked the story and how it channels It's A Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol. It's quite sweet, and it's Christmas as well!"Stenson's one-off return appearance in a Doug centric episode is due to air on Monday 26th December at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
